Preliminary steps required for the computation of ground shaking scenarios along a laterally heterogeneous profile are:

- preparation of the digital 2D model (see DMGDigiMac.pdf, but note the DigiMac app is now obsolete, and Digi app should be used instead).
Digi is a Universal app (x86_64/arm64) made for Mac computers running system 10.10.5 or above. The app is signed but not notarized. On recent systems (like Monterey) users should allow apps from identified developers in System Preferences —> Security and Privacy —> General, and the first launch of the app should be made with a ctrl-click on the app icon, made while pressing the option key.
